Oh Baja. I find myself so inspired here, so active and so happy about my time spent. I decided the second painting of this collection had to be my Baja Beach Girl. Bracelets, moccasins, lace and tassels, what more could she want? Oh right, sand dusting her rich tan and bleach blonde hair. Everything about this picture makes me happy. She is going to be hung in the master bedroom right beside the sliding door
Wow, what a day. I woke up in Mexico, took a peek outside and noticed the sun was shining and the wind was bowing- hard. My mermaid painting that I managed to begin and practically finish the day before, was staring back at me. I was happy with the result. I find that I judge my paintings a lot better when I wake up and see them the next day.  I’m still learning acrylic –
